As I mentioned last week, we are so excited to be getting new Pergo flooring in our master bedroom. With Pergo, there are so many options for style and color – whether you like a more modern, farmhouse, or a traditional style and the color options are endless. Pergo is available at home improvement stores, like Home Depot and Lowe’s and each store offers different style options and colors.
I knew I wanted a light color that was a little bit rustic but still modern. I also wanted a wide plank. After looking at many options, including Heron Oak, Modern Oak, Painted Chestnut, and San Marco Oak we still couldn’t decide so we got some samples and brought them home.
Here are some other best sellers for Pergo and top choices for our home:
After a few days of going back and forth between Heron Oak and Modern Oak, I couldn’t decide. So, I asked Joe which one he liked best and he picked…..
I love the color and I’m so excited! They are everything I originally wanted – light, modern and wide planked. I’m so glad we are going with a light color because with the dust we get here in the Central Valley a dark color just wouldn’t work for us. Plus our bedroom is on the smaller side so a light colored floor is going to make our room look and feel so much bigger.
Our flooring has already been delivered and we are installing it next week! I of course, couldn’t wait and already took a few out of the box. It’s so gorgeous! Next week, I’ll be sharing all the details on our DIY installation. Check out all the flooring options and more info on choosing a Pergo floor HERE.
